«Skywalker» has arrived in Elverum

One of the best handball players in the last 15 years, Luc Abalo, has finally arrived in Elverum, Norway. His arrival was much appreciated, and more than 100 fans showed up to welcome the superstar to the “biggest” handball city in Norway.

Wednesday afternoon the wait was finally over for both fans and #19 himself. He smiled and waved to over 100 fans when he stepped out of the car in front of his new home in Elverum. Now he is ready for action!

“This is great”
There was no doubt that Abalo was happy to arrive in the Norwegian capitol of handball.

“I am very happy right now, and a bit tired. There is a lot of information and now I am ready to start training with the team” Luc said when he got some peace outside his new apartment.

“This is great, I can’t wait to get started. I am ready to be the best version of myself and look forward to playing with a great team – even though I don’t know my team mates yet” Luc said with a smile.

Straight to the wolves
Abalo does not have a lot of time to adapt to his new life in Norway. Already on Sunday Elverum will play a very important match against Kolstad. And in one week the first match in this season’s EHF Champions League is played in Porto. That does not concern the French superstar.

We have a good team and I think we can do very well this year. We will surprise our opponents and I really think we can beat several teams

And what about meeting his old club Paris Saint-Germain in a couple of weeks?
“Well… we need to win that game” Luc said and laughed before he went inside to see his new home.
